Welcome to Central Medical Services! We are a 24/7 private ambulance and medical service provider for both the NHS and private clients. Our East Midlands base allows us to cater to short notice or pre-planned assignments throughout the UK, with most major cities only a short journey away. With our vast experience from the NHS, private, and voluntary sectors, we aim to provide high-quality medical and ambulance services while prioritising patient care and customer service. We are proud to have recently been rated "GOOD" by the CQC.

Founded in 2011 by CEO Stuart Wood - Advanced Paramedic. We have a broad range of clinical staff who operate for Central Medical Services on a range of frontline NHS contracts and specialist events. We are a clinically led, patient centred ambulance provider.

We operate our ambulances with HCPC registered paramedics and highly trained ambulance technicians and emergency care assistants, all our staff understand the importance of teamwork to treat and deliver the right care and the right treatment for each individual patient.

At Central Medical Services, we offer a specialised emergency and critical care ambulance service in new vehicles with the latest and advanced equipment.

We work in partnership with NHS trusts including  East Midlands Ambulance Service, Yorkshire Ambulance service, South West Ambulance Service, South Central Ambulance service and East of England.

 

We adhere to the ambulance service trusts visions and values and the CQC and NHS guidelines to provide an efficient professional front line ambulance service.


Our ambulances are always operated by fully-qualified clinicians.
We understand the importance of a swift, professional and reliable service when it comes to dealing with potential life-threatening cases.

 

Our ambulances are state-of-the-art which are kept to the highest standards. We have the latest equipment including Lifepack 15s, Stryker Stretchers as well as the new Manger Elk lifting cushions.

At CMS, we work with event organisers to keep festival and event goers safe with qualified, fully-trained on-site medics of all grades.

Following the HSE’s event safety guide or “purple guide” we will make recommendations based on your event risk assessment.

Central Medical Services provide a wide range of courses to the public and organisations alike. From first aid to Paramedic qualifications. 
 

Our accredited training courses are delivered by experts in the field, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Nurses so you are learning from people who have the experience to back up your training and make it more relevant and engaging.
